Dreamworld update – 10-02-2023

The Dreamworks friends have well and truely moved out now, and Kenny and Belinda’s dream is starting to materialise in the former Dreamworks/ Nick Central/ Kenny/ Village Oval themed land.

As you enter Dreamworld, this sign indicates which rides are closed.
Cracker of a day. This view is going to change dramatically soon.
Over towards Kenny and Belinda’s Dreamland, themed hoarding has appeared explaining what is to come.
Construction is certainly in full swing. A large amount of greenery around the waterfall has been removed and trimmed back.
The bridge has lost all its theming.
The pond is drained whilst all this work is underway.
No remote boats for now..
We look forward to seeing this beaut of a waterfall back in operation soon.
Work on the theatre is also underway to give it a more generic theme.
The ball fun house is looking a bit bare. Won’t be long until it’s back.
Bananas in Pyjamas wheel is back in operation, with bits and pieces regularly being added to it. The Rat 1 non moving seat is new since our last visit.

Dragon and her Dronkeys have flown away. We expect this is where the Big Red Plane ride will soon be taking guests to new heights.
In Ocean Parade, the shade roof has been removed.
This is where the Splash Pad will be built.
Work continues on Serpant Slayer.
The central post is starting to look blue..
Speaking of posts, the Giant Drop is looking fantastic with a large portion of the tower fully painted.
Prestos training cafe is still open.
New tables and seating at Prestos.
We look forward to seeing how this river gets transformed with Rivertown.
An old crossing bell has been refurbished and reinstalled at one of the parks train crossings.
And on that train of thought, a new range of key rings are now for sale in the emporium.
Finally, parts of Shockwave’s station building have been given a fresh coat of paint.
